Transparent background
Make white or any chosen color transparent. You can pick the color right from the picture. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

This page makes a chosen color transparent. Usually it is the white background of a logo, a signature, an icon or a product picture. After processing, the picture can be placed on any other background on a website, in a presentation or in a layout.
The color you need can be picked in the palette, or you can click the picture in the preview and the background color is filled in automatically. The tolerance slider determines how close shades also become transparent. This removes shadows and scanning irregularities.
By default only the background connected to the edges of the picture is removed. White areas inside the object, such as eyes or letters with a closed outline, stay in place. If you need to remove the color everywhere, turn this option off.
Edge softness creates a smooth transition instead of a sharp border, and fringe cleanup removes the light rim that remains after the background is removed. Thanks to this the outline does not look ragged on a dark background.
PNG and WebP are suitable for saving, because only they store transparency. Files are processed in the browser and do not go to a server. For complex photos with an uneven background, it is better to use the separate background removal tool.
