Drawing and annotations
Arrows, frames, a marker, text and step numbers on photos and screenshots. The pixel size does not change. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.
Drawing and annotations help to draw attention to the needed part of an image. Arrows, frames, marker highlighting, text and step numbering are often used in instructions, bug reports, training materials and discussions of screenshots. The page works right in the browser.
A brush for free drawing, a semi-transparent marker, a line, an arrow, a rectangular frame, an oval, a text label and a numbered marker are available. The color, line thickness and fill type can be changed at any moment, and for text you can turn on an outline that improves legibility.
Each drawn element remains a separate object. It can be selected, moved, resized or deleted. Because of this, editing does not require redrawing the whole annotation. The undo and redo buttons let you go back several actions.
Drawing on photos is conveniently sped up by keys. Holding the Shift key while creating lines and shapes gives straight angles and a perfect square, and the Delete key removes the selected object. All labels and shapes are laid over the image without changing the original pixels until saving.
When saving, the annotations are merged with the photograph into a single image. The result can be written in the original format, or you can choose PNG, JPG or WebP. The size of the image in pixels stays the same. For large files it is advisable to have enough RAM.
All actions take place on your device, and files are not sent to a server. Finished images are downloaded one by one or all at once. No registration or software installation is required. The page works on computers, tablets and smartphones.
