Find out what is hidden in a photo: camera, lens, shooting settings, date and place. The pixel size does not change. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

Drag images here or click to choose JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG, TIFF, BMP, ICO, TGA, PCX, PPM, PGM, PBM, QOI — you can select several files at once

EXIF viewing shows information hidden inside an image file. A camera or smartphone writes it automatically when shooting, and ordinary viewers display only a small part of it. The page shows the data in a convenient, grouped form.

The metadata contains information about the camera and lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, metering mode and flash. These parameters make it possible to understand the conditions in which the shot was taken and help photographers analyze their own pictures.

A separate group contains the date and time of shooting, image dimensions, the processing program and orientation data. If geolocation was turned on in the device, the file contains coordinates. For them the page forms a link to an OpenStreetMap map so that the place can be checked.

Viewing EXIF is useful before publishing photographs: it shows which personal data will be available to everyone who receives the file. Metadata also helps to check the origin of a picture, confirm the shooting date and determine whether the file was edited in a program.

If you need to remove the information found, you can go to the metadata cleaning tool. It removes it without changing the pixels. Some closed manufacturer records, for example the maker note, are shown as present, without decoding of the contents.

The analysis is performed on your device, and the file is not uploaded to a server. Formats in which metadata is stored are supported, including JPG, TIFF, PNG and WebP. For large files it is advisable to have enough RAM.
