Image cropping

Select the part of the image you need and everything else will be cropped. Quality and pixels inside the frame do not change. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

Drag images here or click to choose JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG, TIFF, BMP, ICO, TGA, PCX, PPM, PGM, PBM, QOI — you can select several files at once

Cropping an image means removing unneeded edges and keeping only the selected rectangular area. The operation is used to remove extra details, improve composition, prepare a picture for the required proportions, or exclude confidential information from the frame.

On the page the area is selected with a frame that can be moved and resized by its corners and sides. Position and size can also be set with numbers: the distance from the left and top, and the width and height in pixels. This is convenient when an exact result is required.

Ready-made proportions are provided for typical tasks: a square, 4 to 3, 3 to 2, 16 to 9, as well as vertical options for stories and covers. The free frame mode suits arbitrary cropping, and the original proportions mode keeps the shape of the frame.

Cropping a photo does not change the pixels inside the frame: the quality and resolution of the selected part stay the same, while everything left outside is removed from the image. As a result, the final file has smaller dimensions and, as a rule, a smaller size.

The result can be saved in the original format, or you can choose JPG, PNG or WebP and set the quality. For several pictures there is a button that applies the same frame to all of them, which speeds up preparing a series of images of the same size.

The work is done on your device. Files are not uploaded to a server, and finished images are downloaded one by one or all at once. No registration or software installation is required. The page works on computers, tablets and smartphones.
