Converter from KDC

The ready-made photo embedded in Kodak KDC RAW files is taken and saved as JPG, PNG or WebP. The size may be smaller than the full shot. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

KDC is a Kodak raw image format recorded by some of the company’s digital cameras, in particular the DC and EasyShare series. Such files remain in family archives from the era of the first digital cameras.

The KDC structure is based on TIFF: inside there are sensor data, shooting information and an embedded shot for preview. Today Kodak’s own programs for these cameras have not been updated for a long time.

Because of that, modern systems often do not show even thumbnails of such files. To regain access to old photos, it is convenient to convert them into ordinary pictures that open in any viewer, messenger or on a website.

The KDC to JPG converter finds the ready-made embedded image in the file and saves it as JPG, PNG or WebP. The size may be smaller than the full sensor resolution, and the look matches what the camera screen showed.

All operations run in the browser, and files are not uploaded to a server. You can load several shots and download the results one by one or in a single action. For deep editing, it is better to use a RAW editor.
