Image rotation
Rotate by 90°, 180° or any angle, flip horizontally and vertically. The result is visible right away. The pixel size does not change. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.
Rotating an image by the needed angle is required when a picture was taken with the wrong orientation, a document was scanned sideways, or the horizon in the frame is slightly tilted. The page lets you rotate a picture and flip it horizontally and vertically right in the browser.
Quick-action buttons rotate the image by 90 degrees left or right and by 180 degrees. For precise correction, an arbitrary angle in degrees is set. The preview updates immediately, so the result can be assessed before saving.
When rotating by angles that are not multiples of 90, the image no longer fits into the previous rectangle. 2 modes are possible: expand the canvas so that the whole picture fits, or keep the original size and crop the protruding corners. The empty areas that appear can be made transparent or filled with a color.
Flipping horizontally creates a mirror copy of the image, which is needed to correct selfie shots and prepare layouts. Flipping vertically turns the picture upside down. The operations can be combined with rotation and reset with the reset button.
A photo can be rotated for several files at once: the specified transformations are applied to all images. The result is saved in the original format or in JPG, PNG or WebP. For JPG, transparent areas are replaced with a color.
Processing is performed on your device, and files are not uploaded to a server. Finished images are downloaded one by one or all at once. No registration or software installation is required. The page works on computers, tablets and smartphones.
