Converter from 3FR
The ready-made photo embedded in Hasselblad 3FR RAW files is taken and saved as JPG, PNG or WebP. The size may be smaller than the full shot. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.
3FR, or 3F RAW, is the raw image format of Hasselblad medium-format cameras, including the H series and digital backs. These shots have a very high resolution, so the files are large and hard to open on an ordinary computer.
A 3FR file contains sensor data, shooting settings and embedded preview images. Color depth reaches 16 bits per channel, which leaves plenty of room for adjusting light and shadows in professional programs.
For full development Hasselblad offers its own program, Phocus, but to quickly check a shot, send it to a client or publish it on a website it is more convenient to get a ready-made picture. There is no need to launch a heavy editor for that.
The 3FR to JPG converter extracts the embedded ready-made image from the file and saves it as JPG, PNG or WebP. The frame size may be smaller than the full resolution, and the colors match the camera settings.
All operations run in the browser, and files are not uploaded to a server. Because RAW files are large, it is best to have enough RAM. The results can be downloaded one by one or all at once.
