Image information

Pixel size, format, DPI, file size, color depth, transparency and shooting data. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

Drag images here or click to choose JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG, TIFF, BMP, ICO, TGA, PCX, PPM, PGM, PBM, QOI — you can select several files at once

The page shows what is stored inside an image file: format, pixel size, file size, aspect ratio, color depth, resolution in DPI and whether there is transparency. The data is read from the file itself, not from its name.

For photographs, EXIF information is shown: camera, shooting date, processing software, orientation and GPS coordinates. This is a quick way to check whether a shot gives away too much before you send it to the internet.

For printing, the resolution and the print size are useful. The page converts pixels into centimeters using the DPI value recorded in the file and also shows what size you get at 300 DPI, which is considered the standard for quality printing.

JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, TIFF, ICO, AVIF, SVG and other formats of the site are supported. For animated GIF, WebP and PNG the number of frames is shown, and for PNG and WebP the presence of transparency and the compression method are determined.

All calculations run in the browser, and files are not uploaded to a server or modified. You can drag several files at once and compare their characteristics. To change DPI or EXIF, use the neighboring pages of the site.
