App icons

Get icon sets for iOS and Android from a single picture: all sizes and the Contents.json file for Xcode. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

Drag images here or click to choose JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG, TIFF, BMP, ICO, TGA, PCX, PPM, PGM, PBM, QOI

Publishing an app requires a whole set of icons in different sizes: Apple and Google ask for dozens of files for different screens. This page creates such a set from one picture and packs it into a single archive.

For iOS you get an AppIcon.appiconset folder with files for iPhone and iPad from 20 to 180 pixels, a 1024 by 1024 icon for the App Store and a Contents.json file. Just drag the folder into the asset catalog of your Xcode project.

For Android, ic_launcher and round ic_launcher_round icons are created for the mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi and xxxhdpi densities, plus a 512 by 512 pixel icon for the Google Play store. The files are placed in ready-made mipmap folders.

The source picture should be square or close to it, preferably at least 1024 pixels. iOS icons are always made without transparency, while for Android you can choose corner rounding and padding so that the artwork does not touch the edge.

Processing happens in the browser: the source artwork and the finished icons are not sent to a server. This is handy for internal projects while the app is not yet published. The finished archive downloads as a single file, with no registration.
