Converter from SVG
Vector SVG files are turned into regular PNG, JPG or WebP images. The pixel size does not change. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.
SVG, or Scalable Vector Graphics, is an open vector graphics format based on the XML language and standardized by the W3C consortium. An image is described not by pixels but by geometric shapes, outlines, fills and text, so it can be enlarged without losing sharpness.
An SVG file is ordinary text that can be opened in an editor and changed. Inside are elements for lines, polygons, Bezier curves, gradients, filters and styles. The format supports animation and interaction through scripts, which makes it convenient for web pages.
Vector files are indispensable for logos, icons, diagrams and illustrations, but they are not always suitable for publishing. Many social networks, email clients, editors and content management systems accept only raster formats such as PNG or JPG.
The SVG to PNG converter turns a drawing into a raster image. You can choose the output format and the scale: the original size or an enlargement of 2, 3 or 4 times. The enlarged version is useful for printing and for screens with a high pixel density.
A transparent background is available for PNG and WebP; for JPG you need to choose a backing color, because this format does not support transparency. Quality affects the size of JPG and WebP files, while for PNG compression is always lossless.
Drawing is performed by the browser on your device. External resources referenced by the file may fail to load, so for a reliable result it is better to embed fonts and images in the SVG. Files are not sent to a server.
