Converter from SRW

The ready-made photo embedded in Samsung SRW RAW files is taken and saved as JPG, PNG or WebP. The size may be smaller than the full shot. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.

SRW is the raw image format of Samsung, recorded by the NX series mirrorless cameras. The file stores the sensor data unprocessed, so neither operating system file managers nor most messengers show it.

The SRW structure is based on TIFF. Next to the sensor data there is usually an embedded preview shot in JPEG format, as well as shooting parameters: exposure time, aperture, ISO and the lens description. Color depth is 12 or 14 bits.

Samsung stopped making cameras long ago, so support for SRW in modern programs is sometimes incomplete, and old archives with such files have to be browsed piece by piece. Converting to an ordinary picture solves the task of quick viewing and sending.

The SRW to JPG converter takes the ready-made embedded frame from the file and saves it as JPG, PNG or WebP. The size may be smaller than the full shot, and the look matches what the camera screen showed.

All calculations run on your device, and files are not sent anywhere. You can load several shots at once and download the result separately or in one action. For maximum quality, use a RAW editor.
